SU Pin-Wen (TW)
SU PinWen, who is often mistaken for a man because of the name. She creates arts with her own body. She describes herself as: independent art, dance (?), single woman who is 38, vegetarian, and skoliosexual. SU PinWen’s choreography is free from satisfying visual service. Since 2013, touching and improvisation has become the main base of her body training to enhance the ability of multidimensional senses. SU PinWen is thinking about the relationship between human body and metaphysical energy training. Dance is seen as Conceptual Art by SU PinWen.
“Su PinWen’s Feminism, a three-year project” concerned Gender, Feminisms and Nudity as her art form. Since 2018, in the Taipei Fringe Festival she performed a series of independent solo (Single Body) dance pieces Girl's Notes. However, she always believes that the audience just loves to see her naked body. That’s all.
