Henry TAN (TH)
Henry Tan is an artist based in Bangkok, Henry is a co-founder of Tentacles, art initiatives based in Bangkok since 2014.
Henry is a member of Freaklab, Thailand and metaPhorest, Japan. Fellow of Global BioCommunity, MIT’s Media Lab 2019 Henry interested in collective consciousness through investigating the concept of dream, memory, simulation and reality with cutting edge technologies in neuroscience, microbiology, artificial life and virtual reality.Henry engaged with recent trends and critical debates in participatory art and socialpractice.
Henry is interested in the erosion of individual beliefs and culturally grounded understanding with regard to contemporary technologies of
communication and system of control.
Henry recent project Pearl of Lunar question the nation state ideology that push humanity towards interplanetary colonization. Short Circuit Consciousness transfer, using brainwave to remote control machine with mqtt technology, Lunartic Dream - Retrieving lost memory of Princess Kaguya on the Moon by terraforming with Biotechnology.
